RESOLVED:
If you are running the Web-Developer extension make sure the "Disable refers" option is not checked.

Hi all,

Am I the only one left having issues with the mxm page and Firefox ?

When opening the MXM page:
-Input the login info
-Press 'Enter'
-Then firefox gives a blank page
-Then pressing the 'back' arrow of the browser gives the correct page and the user is now properly logged in.

Same things happen now if we press the logout button --> blank page.
It seems to get stuck here: http://mxmgallery.maxwellrender.com/log ... =index.php
... and will not jump back to: http://mxmgallery.maxwellrender.com

Any others notice this ?
if you copy and paste this into your address bar what does it do for you ?
Code: Select all
http://mxmgallery.maxwellrender.com/logout.php?url=index.php

hi Max,

If you copy and paste this text into your address bar what does it do on your end ?
Code: Select all

that gives me a blank page as well, but oddly enough if I log in and out with my account name and password that doesn't happen. no blank pages, it works just fine. latest 1.5.x build here, haven't tried rc 2 yet.

The very moment I press the logout button then firefox jumps to that adress automatically ... it doesn't happen on IExplorer (and it doesn't matter if the firewall is on/Off)

blank page here if I submit the address you posted, and redirected to this topic if I directly follow the same address in your first post (clicking it)...

but I haven't got problems so far in login and logout...

This is weird...

Now if you hover the mouse above the 'logout' button of the mxm page ... then read the address shown at the bottom of your firefox window (on the left of the status bar) .... isn't that address exactly the same as the text listed in the previous post ?

I am not sure why in your systems pressing the logout acts differently than manually entering the address. Over here it does the exact same thing -->blank page.

yes, it is. as it is in your post, and that would give me the blank page. but here it works, when I press the logout button I actually log out with no problems.

same as rivoli here. I guess that it has something to do with the php code and permission: I suppose that the mxmgallery and its database are residing in the same domain, so there must be some problem across the database mixing things a bit. Just a wild guess though.
perhaps some security firefox extension you have it is preventing the adress to redirect your browser?

That was my first thought too ... but when I run Firefox on safe mode (all extensions disabled) the problem is still there.

This is so weird ...

Another issue here is:

-If you select "remember user"
-Login and then
-Close firefox
-Open Firefox
-Go back to the mxm page

Are you logged in ? ... or .... you merely have the login fields filled up and now have to press the enter button to login ? (so essentially you were not auto-logged in) ...
