WOW!

I'm confused, I thought one photo was a reference and one was a comparative render. I didn't realise that both were rendering!!!

I'm very, very impressed.

Thanks a lot for all your nice words friends! I try to improve some of these renders a little more (less grain, bigger resolution ) plus I am working on a completely new scene.

P.S. Yeah! my images have won an cgtalk award !
quite an honour for me- :D

Congratulations! You deserve it! Great modeling and texturing - great attention to detail. Not many architectural renders get much notice over there. 8)

dunno if this was mentioned before... but there's a big giveaway that it's a render (2nd kitchen)...
the tableleg penetrates the chair :p

but that's just to prove it's a render i guess :D
a cute error

still awesome

nl should DEFINATELY inlcude a flash-option in the render/camera dialog imo

The fourth one down with the blown out / out of focus chair in the foreground.....

holy crap man. There's something about this renderer. The light distribution or falloff or something. They look real.

very impressive.

@bramboogie: Yeah, I noticed that and fixed it already. I notice more and more mistakes and things to improve the longer I look at those pics...
I'll pay more attention next time.

Your images are superb, but for those render times what was your output resolution and was there any distributed involved, are these at 640x480 or at 5000x3750.

Tora, I hope you don't mind this, but I couldn't resist just slightly adjusting the color image in PS :) It's one of my favorite cg images, it's clean yet doesn't scream CG. Not an easy thing to accomplish.
