Question for Windows x64 users:

Does Maxwell work? Yeah, it's 32-bit, but if I had a Core2 Duo with 4GB RAM and Windows x64, would Maxwell work properly and be able to use all my RAM?

my god its christmas, first maya, then max, then real flow. the only program i was missing was this one.

PS stay far way from vista 64. i have tested 5 builds and not one are good yet. vista 32 is great i now have 5600 on my laptop works great.

XP64 runs really well for me - even with 32bit apps I have yet to have any problems at all. It even seems more stable than XP32 if you can believe that...

I've just upgraded my x2 system and my new conroe system to xp64. So the 5% number is growing :)

Major Major problem is I can't load the maxwell pluging into solidworks64, I open the dll and nothing happens

Major problem for me is printer drivers, my large format hp 9650 is no go and my all-in-one mp730 canon is no go.

Plug-ins don't appear to work with 64-bit, I'm using studio exclusively........could be just me of course! :P

HP Print drivers are a small problem yes, you can use a built-in driver [from XP64] for most printers, just use the closest generic driver from your installation disk...........works here fine. :)

My Max plugin work 100% in Windows Vista 64bits RC1. And seem to manage better the available memory, I'm trying to render now a scene with 16.000.000 of polygons with only 2Gb memory and max haven't ran out of memory (my Max in xp 32bits & 2GB ram crashed with much less polycount)

I guess LW32 plugin with LW32 on XP64 should work (though that's not of much use). I hope we'll get LW64 plugin together with Maxwell64.
