I finally got around to updating my website. I took a lot of past projects, and re-rendered them with maxwell. See if you can spot which ones are photos and which are maxwell in the portfolio section. 8 of them are maxwell 2 are cinema 4d AR, and the rest are actual photos. Shouldnt be too hard to tell I think. http://www.ericlagman.com

The site itself is very simple and straightforward. I just wanted to showcase the actual work, and use it to get some freelance design work on the side. If anyone has any comments to improve let me know. I plan on showing more sketches that led to the final results for each project. I have many more projects, that I cant show because of NDA agreements. Over time I will add them.

P.S. If anyone could comment on the loadtime that would be great also. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

It's cached.

Nice simple layout and great renders Eric, however there is no value in using Flash here, you have over a hundred lines of script just to detect the version, HTML would be a much better choice imho.

Adrian I noticed that message popped up on other pc's I tested my site on. Is this because they did not have the latest version of Flash player?
Ill be the first to admit I dont really know what I am doing when it comes to the technical stuff that goes on with web-design.

I used Flash becuase it will have some animations and things that require flash once I have more time. The only reason I used flash is because all the data for managing the website is embedded in the flash file. Also flash can scale with the browser. My last site was done in html using Adobe GoLive, and it took quite a while to create using tables etc. I was able to create much quicker with Flash, and I like the small filesize Flash gives. I just used the default html file it gave me when I hit publish. Also I dont really know what I am doing when it comes to the technical stuff of designing web pages. Website design is something I do once every few years if that, so whatever gets it done the fastest and is easiest to update is the route I take. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Thanks Dutch. I think I will do that. I remember going to that forum a while back, but it somehow slipped my mind. I will register and post for sure.
