Man oh man…. I don’t even know were to begin or even if I should be posting this. :?

I haven’t been around because my brother suddenly passed away… It’s a very hard time emotionally I'm going through right now. We were very close and that’s something I’m thankful for. The feelings I have I never had before and they are horrible and so hard to explain. I feel like I’m never going to be the same. As of right now I have no enjoyment in 3D or other activates I once had… I don’t know if this is normal or not…its like nothing matters.

In no way am I looking for sympathy… I just wanted to let anyone know that was wondering why I haven’t been around… and maybe I guess I’m looking to vent a little. Also make sure you let your love ones and the deepest people close to you how much you care and love them…

If and when I do start posting again I don’t want to be looked at different for posting this… I just feel like I need to post this…

Mark,

I really don't know what to say, I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
I can't imagine how you feel right now, I have a brother to and it would be like the end of the world to lose him.
My condolences to you and your family.

I wish you well.

Hi Mark,
I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
My condolences to you and your family.

I wish you all the strength you will need and I think that the best thing to do is, how difficult it is too, start working again. Make something for him.

Mark, I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I lost my brother 9 years ago, almost to the day. It is normal for you to feel the way that you do right now. Keep your family and friends close, and they will help you get through this. Don't hesitate to talk to them about how you feel.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss of your brother Mark :( that's a nightmare to have to go through and it's gonna take a long time until you're yourself again. Hang in there man, you got us here if you need to vent and talk. I been in the same seat myself two years ago when my woman passed away, since then life never been the same.

Take all the time you need Mark, things like 3d will still be around when you eventually feel ok again.

Best regards

/ Max

Mark, there are no things like normal in such a case. I lost my mother ten years ago when I was 22, was there when it happened. After that, definitely nothing was normal and it definitely changed my perspective on a lot of things.

Looking back on it now it did feel like you mentioned. Nothing mattered. But I had some very good friends who kept me on track, that listened when I needed somebody and who simply kept quit when that was needed. And they brought me back into my life. Just take your time. It is different for everybody. Don´t let anybody rush you. Your life definitely won´t be the same again. But still : There will be a life again that you are going to enjoy even if you do not see it yet. Believe me....

Mark I know how you feel also. My grandfather who was like a second father to me unexpectedly passed away a month ago. This is the first death of a close family memember I have had in my life, and is very upsetting. I know what you mean by the not caring about anything feeling, but it does get better with time. The only thing I can say that has helped me is to imagine how they would want me to live my life, and what they would say to me about their passing. This can get you through the rough days. If you listen close I am sure a part of your brother is in you and in all those he touched. In this way people who were close to us that have passed live on. It is good that you can already see the positives like how close you were with him. To be thankful for what you had is a good way to start dealing with this. My condolonces on your loss, and like someone else said talking about it helps. Don't hold things in. That will only make it harder.

Hello Mark,

What you're feeling is normal and healthy. The fact that other things seem to have less value right now is more to do with you grief than any lack of love or loss thereof for 3D or otherwise.

Your brother and you, by what you're saying, had a great bond. Nothing in this world, not even his passing, can take away the beauty of the relationship you had with him. If you believe in God and the afterlife, then you can take solace in the fact that this relationship is still there, only transformed into something less tangible but no less in worth or power.

Take time away from the computer, 3D, CG, whatever and be with your family. It's a time when you all will need each other. The computer will still be there and we'll all be here when you've had a chance to heal and gain a little more inner peace.

God Bless and be strong! You'll be alright.

Mark,

My condolences to you and your family. I lost my brother 22 years ago (when I was almost 10). The most horrible day in my life. He was my best friend. Times like this it makes me think of him. I can not tell you how to feel. You just feel what you feel. Just take it one day at a time. I am sure your brother is looking down on you and wants for you to remember him but also understand that you have to continue to live, love and maybe someday...... render. I truly wish you the best.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. It will take some time, but the joy will come back as your brother's light shines through the work you do.
