very sad, it happened just off Cairns where I live and after speaking to some friends in the marine industries, this is like a freak incident to have all of these ray's at this spot at the same time, you never see this here. they said there were about 50 big ones at this location.
He was one of australias big habitat protectors, he might of played the game to get the money but he did so much good with it.
mother nature has lost one of her greatest human guardians.
It's a sad thing indeed, especially for his family and young kids, they will miss such a cool guy growing up. For his wife it must be tough to keep the park going on without its sympathetic host and her partner..
Something like this was bound to happen is what went through my mind, but still, he knew what he was doing. It's always sad to have people die so young.
