Plus I always swap out the stock HSF's - I bought a zalman cnps9500 led for this one, my x2 has a si-120, and my p4 has a zalman7000cu.
The temp differences between any one of these and the stock coolers are up to 30%. ie. my p4 before overclocking ran at 59c load with the intel hsf, with the 7000cu (and overclocked to 3ghz from 2.4ghz) the temp went down to 43c load. And much quieter. Intel must pay high design fees for the whine that comes out of their stock coolers
