where come all these files, tapes, audiologs and so on from? who are these interviewers with the *groovy* djs? do we know them better than one of the dead?

it sounds all interesting, an *whooo* there is a conspiracy...

reality, answers that's what we need, answers by some «government» which actually doesn't seem to exist.

I made the mistake of watching this today. Most of his claims fail have logic holes that would bother a chimpanzee, he almost exclusively quotes stories that came out the week of 9/11 (when there was a tremendous amount of crap and rumors floating around), and he doesn't corroborate any of it.

The final premise, that it was a gold heist, made me LOL. Let me do the math for you. He claims there was $167 Billion dollars worth of gold in the basement of the WTC (laughable in itself, but we'll let that go). The price of gold back then was $275/oz, which means that this would have been about 38 Million pounds of gold. (!) A fully laden semi can carry about 100,000 pounds (the weight limit is probably much less in Manhattan). This means they would have needed 380 semi trailer loads to get all that gold out. It would also completely fill a smallish container cargo ship. I'm thinking someone just might have noticed that walking away, especially since the "gold vault" big enough to hold all that would have filled the first 10 floors of the building.

I agree completely that there are but a few interesting nuggets ie. things that don't make sense at all, like the 'vaporized' plane in the pentagon that left only a small hole in the building facade.

But I don't think you made a mistake to watch it! It is interesting in and of itself as a piece of media as indicated by yours (and others) abiltity to watch to the end.

The real conspiracies are all but forgotton: the bavarian illuminati, the gnomes of zurich and the good old john birch society!!!!

It's not that I felt it a complete waste of time- I've got a friend who is a big conspiracy enthusiast as well, and it's always good to see the other side. It just maddens me that people waste time creating this kind of nonsense to start with. The truth about the liberties our government is stealing from us is shocking enough, and tinfoil hat crap like this is nothing but a diversion from the real lies and abuse going on (hmm, almost like it was planned that way...)

The plane "vaporizing" isn't that remarkable if you stop to consider the amount of kinetic energy contained in a widebody airplane going what, at least 400 knots? All those other crashes he showed were relatively low speed. The Helios crash is the only one I recall specifically- it probably went in at about 100 knots, and it was completely empty of fuel. That speed would give it 1/16 the kinetic energy of the Pentagon plane. The Pentagon plane also had the misfortune of hitting the Pentagon, whose outer perimeter is something like 10 feet of solid masonry. Guess who wins that one? If you've ever seen a truly high speed plane crash, an utter lack of large debris is not uncommon. It's just that planes don't usually run into perpendicular virtually immovable objects while full of fuel and with the throttles pegged, so we're not used to seeing them.

Also, true enough about the plane, but how does that jibe with the recovery of 184 of 188 bodies from the vaporized airplane?

I didn't see the bodies, but I imagine "recovery" means they got a tooth or fingertip or bit of DNA or something else they could positively identify. They certainly weren't carrying the passengers out on stretchers. The plane wasn't really "vaporized" either (which why I put it in quotes) it was disintegrated into small pieces. A lot of those pieces ended up inside the building, because they were going 500 mph. The ones that didn't were mostly too small to show up in the crappy images we have from the scene.

I agree cyberfish, what I took from the 'documentary' was that there are things that don't seem to make sense. And it's good to ask the questions, even internally. The reality is that even with all this 9/11 conspiracy stuff floating around (theres loads of books and other films) that in america today none of it will ever make a difference. That is exactly why an actual conspiracy of this magnitude could happen so easily. It's not like the conspirators need to be careful or even half intelligent. They can miss a ton of details that will end up being in conspiracy theories that will just simply be ignored by the 98% of the population who is rushing home from burger king to watch the latest american idol....

Bill hicks is skilled at this type of rant unlike myself!!!!
