And you'll get forum discussions about it sort of like this:

-hey that's so freekin cool man!

-What's so cool about it? Where exactly do they store all the crap you delete? I'd rather not fill my hard drives with crap, thank you very much.

-i don't know, but I think it's damn cool! i don't have to worry about making backups and shit, it's all there. So cool the way it was moving like that, with the stars...

- Stars.. gimme a break. What are you, 9? I'd rather have control of exactly what and how I back up my important files, not all the crap you collect over 1 year using your computer...

-hey dude, what's your prob? lighten up...jeeez, some tight ass always gonna spoil it for you. Get an i-life hahahaha!

- Whatever... go ahead, use your "Time Machine", junior. Obviously a real backup solution would be too much for your comprehension skills..

-Freekin nazi!

...err, how do you turn it off? I'm picturing infinite continuous backups of every 1.5Gb .mxi/.mxs file I've ever rendered...definetely gonna buy some Seagate/WD/Maxtor stock ASAP. :D

It is rather convenient how there's no mention of the storage solution.

Now, .....is it me or does every Apple represenative come off as a smug, condescending, thinks he's funny, elitist? .....don't reply, .....I think it's just me.

'Now, Ivox, let's just take a minute and think about just what a computer is. A computer is a logical device...that is to say, it works by the principles of logic. What is logic? Logic, in this case, is a construct by which we can determine the difference between one, and zero. Now, one and zero are numbers...they are not the only numbers, there are actually many more, but we are primarily concerned with these particular numbers. The really beautiful thing about these two (not the number two, we are using 'two' here to denote the total quantity of numbers contained in the set {0,1}) is that they are very simple. One...Zero...Simple...see? Now, our job, here at Apple, is to insulate the user from the actual handling of these numbers. To do this we use what is known as a User-Interface. What is a user-interface? It's quite simple really (not a simple as one and zero, though), it is a series of buttons and sliders and such that is used to control all of the ones and zeroes. Once again...simple. Now, it should be very pretty as well. What is pretty? Well...'
