Just amazing. On a side note, that sink is extremely antique. I haven't seen a sink with true wash, rinse, drip-dry sections since my grandpa's farm house. I love it!

@Thomas: Yeah sure, the design is mostly taken from photographs. Whenever I try to resample something real as close as possible you can't have enough reference material.
I start with carefully observing its shape, breaking it down into its smaller parts while at the same time thinking about what modeling technique would fit best for any specific part. I further divide objects in my scene down whether they need to be extradetailed or if I can get away with simpler shapes. Everthing you see in the kitchen has soft edges, nothing is completely sharp or 90° angled. That takes a lot of time to model, raises the polycount considerably and demands a high level of patience. Another difficult part is to get every object into the proper size in relation to other objects. It is easy to just model a chair, but modeling a chair that is supposed to appear photoreal is VERY difficult. Especially if you are not going for a brand new looking one, but a old used one. So I use a lot of reference images and a good deal of practice, experience and observing ability.

Wow  .. this is truely fantastic work, and to see you make such wonders with the current Maxwell version makes me trust in this software even more.

Regarding the modelling you mention that there are no sharp edges and that it takes a long time to model. Indeed it does, and I just wanted to mention that Maxscripts exist that can aid in the process of bevel'ing those edges of a model that fall into a certain angle threshold, it can sometimes be usefull to automate that process (but you probably already know - if not say so, and I will try to locate those scripts).

Hello Tora.

Your work is absolutely fantastic, very photoreal, which leads us to the quality of composition you have, beyond the basic CGI skills ; most of the pictures are really well composed, the only thing I may see is about the 2 drinks on the first kitchen shots : the fact they are on the same line is pretty strange, not at first sight, but more when you have this strange shadow from the glass on the image litten by the candle. After that, you discover that there are 2 glasses, which is not annoying, but would have been perfect if not on the same line, regarding the POV. The other very little mistake, but you have seen that for sure, is the flame of the candle on the picture litten by the right side.

All the rest is close to f**king awesome piece of work, keep doing the good job!

Thanks to everyone, it appears that V1.1 is quite successful. In this scene I tried something which had been particulary hard to do in beta for example. Clearing up noise in dielectrics. Especially liquid seen through glass.
Here is my result. 15h on a Dual Xeon 3.2 GHz, SP levle 18, benchmark 32. Studiolight setup, 5 plane emitter, multilight.
The next thing on my list is SSS.

Beautiful setup and lighting .. you make even the simplest scenes look most realistic and beautiful. Looking very much forward to see your work with SSS.
