I've been playing with this for a while with no success and I remember some old black render posts, but I cannot seem to find them now.
Here is the chain of events,
1. I tried to render a relatively simple scene from the Cinema plug. Totally Black render.
2. Checked, double and triple checked all settings, black render.
3. Exported the MXS to try it in studio, black render.
4. Opened the studio_m environment in studio (a clean test), renders fine.
5. Imported my scene into the studio_m environment, black render.
6. Began deleting objects thinking that an object or material was messing up the render, all objects and materials deleted, black render.
7. Closed studio, restarted (many times over the past weeks), load studio_m environment clean, black render? Even though I never saved and the date stamp is still 4/25/06.
I seem to be having two problems, why would the studio file be messed up (not critically important really) and why am I getting black renders at all? I've now build a collection of MXS files that will not render no matter what changes I make to them...
Thanks for any ideas,
Steve
