Hello friends. :D

In our news, I heard that korean people works most hours in the world.

So I'm curious how many hours do you work.

I'm working about 55~60 hours per a week except lunch time nowadays.

My company doesn't use maxwell render.

I think there is no one who can use it execpt me.

So I have not so much time to play with maxwell.

How many hours do you work as a job?

I guess every country is proud of themselves. I read a report here in the USA that we work the most hours per person of any country. The official work week here is 40 hrs, but a study came out saying that most professionals take at least 10 hours home every week.

My time at work varies on how busy we are, at least 40, but when we get busy I was doing 70 & 80 hour weeks (over the course of all 7 days). Not the funnest thing in the world.

Point well made !

First off Sandy, ......you have to distinguish between people working for firms/companies and the independent types.

For anyone in a company to put in 60+ hours a week, ....they'll most assuredly feel 'worked' or 'overworked', ...and at the very least, they'll feel like they put their time in!
.......that's for damn sure.

But us independent types won't bat an eyelash if we put in 70, 80 + hours per week ..... at least I don't.

What I will say though, ....that most of those hours don't feel like 'work'. :)
There's a total difference between the two, ......when your working for yourself, ....there's no one watching you, ....nobody is accounting for your time. So this 'sensation' of work is immediately changed into something more like ..... 'necessary activity'. Of all the self-employed people I know .......none of them watch the clock like typical office/firm workers do.

For me, ....5:00 o'clock on a Friday doesn't make me happy and means nothing to me. So, ...i kinda miss that feeling.

So there's a freedom in doing your own thing.. But at the same time, ....without that formal structure to exist in, ...you have to create your own. Which by the way, ......feels much better than that of someone else.

I'm clocking out and going home now, .....oh, ...I am home.

PS. ....I know you didn't ask for all this nonsense, .....just thought I'd throw it at ya. Also: sometimes though .........it still just feels like work. :P

If others have a take .......fine, ......bring it.

I'm a freelance hobbyist, so 60 or 70 hour weeks (including weekends) don't really bother me.

Hi Max,
You are only as poor as you feel, in my opinion you strike me as a rich guy, making such great drawings/renders and photo's, living in one of the most beautiful countries of the world :D
I hope in the future you will be rich to when it comes to money, that always helps a lot ( been there done that :? )
