Hi Maxwell Friends

Here is my latest rendering. Rendertime about 2h, in the Window there´s missing the glass,
because I wasn´t able to create a correct glass, with translucent sunlite.... :x Is this still a bug? Or have some one a idea, how to
creat a glassy window (with reflection & all the nice stuff)?

thanks & greex

great image ludi. have you tried with a high bounces number (something between 12>15) and a high abbe for your glass issue? also all caustics levels have to be turned on.
btw, i think your tables are floating.

i love how you did combine ur sunset light with the background, how was it added, a box and applyed the image on it, if so, how far was the box from the window ?
cheers :)

Thanks , you 3 are really fast

Smooth, I did a right klick on the background Image, and checked the creation date of the Image and put this Informations into the time controll. Ok the place is although wrong, (Pic = Kopenhagen, => Skandinavia) this place is considerably more north than...New York. But who cares. The Background is a Plane, far away from the room, so it doesn´t interrupt the lighting.

Hi!
I have the same problem. No sunlight through glass... i've tried all kinds of ways to make this work, changing the abbe of the glass, adding more bounces and time, but no luck... is this still a bug ? all caustics are enabled (using 1.33 version)

hm.. it seems so... i removed the ground plane, and i got sunlight through.. the ground plane was not even really big... so it is a bug, right?

but still.. everything gets much darker when the light runs through the glass, even when absorbance in the glass turned to zero.. is this correct? :?
