That copper wire used to be cheap, ...it's not anymore, ...check it. 30-40% price hike in the last few months.

Galvanized hanging wire used for drop ceilings is best
I'm not sure the galvanized stuff would work for what I use the copper wire for. At 2-4mm diameter is pretty sturdy. Like a custom curtain rod across the front of the pvc pipe box, with paper clips as the fabric hangers. The curtains come together to wrap the lens so the only reflection you get of the camera (I was doing a lot of polished jewelry) is a tiny black speck of a lens. The curtains gives you ultimate flexibility re position. One little studio had a "U" shaped copper wire as the top edge, so I could position the camera anywhere within the arc of the "U".
Getting expensive? Aren't you in Cathay? Come over the the States and check the prices. Bring your smelling salts.
cheers.

You are right. I guess having my 3 year old riding a horse on her own is neither very realistic nor that meaningful. Thanks :)

Poor fellah. Even tight-fisted people must know there's a time when there's not just about money
;)
