...this one cooked at 2000px for 60 hours on a G5 Quad. Still had to take out the glasses in the openings bringing in the light for noise reduction. But i like the fact that i just set time & place, no tweaking/photoshop, just some noise ninja.

on the design point of view... how are you protecting people from falling from the second floor?

Another thing.. the glass on the windows in the background are huge! I do't think it would be easy to work with glasses that big in the real world.

also the shelves on the first floor are a bit too tall.. they take up 2 floors... It would be a bit dangerous and unusable to have books stored that high.

The second floor seems a big squished compared to the height of the first floor....

And I don't understand why do you have a window that goes from the floor to the showder's height on the first floor (left)

I would do something with the books. I would be suprised to come to a library only having white books. The books gives essential life to the scene and the atmosphere would be totally different with books in all kinds of color mixes around the shelves. I know its a hugh job to give random colors to all the books - maybe you can use somekind of script - but I think it would be worth it!

Best wishes

nice one steffen!
i like the simplicity of it... it reminds me of looking at a medium-sized physical model. the muted material pallete (i think i count 5 materials) helps the viewer understand that this is a representation they are looking at.

i'm curious about your camera position/framing... is this image a cropped version of some larger render? or were you able to get camera view to fit your preference?
