xmood,

Running a 17" MacBook Pro here, and MXCL 1.1 works fine as stand alone and also from Cinema4D and SketchIp Plug-Ins.

I did not modify anything from the standard installation and I do keep the OS up to date.

The only problem is that it is slow as it is not a UB, I also do not run XP on it, if I wanted XP I would have gotten a PC. (I have plenty of those at work)

It does not sound like it has anything to do with the license, it would just tell you it was not found, not crash. I would recommend completely deleting all M~R files from your system and doing a fresh install. After that try launching the Studio and specify the license file in the "help->License File" pulldown menu. (If Studio launches) Once you get that working you can see about MXCL command line.

I am not sure then why it is not recognisin the license file. You browse for it from studio then?

The reason why the plug-in likely does not show is that it is not a UB yet. You have to run Cinema4D PPC for it to show up, it will not otherwise. Of course this means that you will be using C4D under rosetta too and it will be slower.

Are you able to open Studio at all?

If so, open it and got to the "help" menu and choose "license file", the program will prompt you to browse for the license.dat file and it should work then.

Yes, under XP it seems better. The good news is that your license file is fine if you can see your name in the startup screen.
