I think you should not scare so much about that update...it's no more some big jump from Beta to RC or RC to V1...it's an update, with some improuvment to make you used the software more easily. It's nothing fancy but it's very pleasant.

I have to say though... for NL to realse OX and Win at the same time plus 90% of all the plugins is amazing!! I'm very impress

Plus one OS missing since the RC phase, evenly as impressive.
