Hehe, it feels quite roomy & comfortable in fact, with a moving thread and all. And they show samples of the 5" sections plexiglass (did I type it right?) sections of the tube to make sure people wont freak out with the sharks and sting rays... it's a nice ride.

This building is all but 5 minutes away from my studio and I've never taken the time to photograph it. I guess this thread kind of served as inspiration. The shots aren't great by any means, ....a rather dull and overcast day and perhaps the wrong camera for the job. ......anway, ..here we are: :)

The building was financed by Peter B.Lewis[Progressive Ins.] and it's on the Case Western Reserve Campus. I think you know who designed it.

It's pretty nice having it around, .....it's no Bilbao, ....but we like it.

sandykoufax: Good shots of your old schoo, especially the 3rd and 5th one, and eww there's a big creepy metal spider there too.. :)

Xlars: Welcome to the photothread and thanks :) you started out with a cool shot of what i guess are lamps, or what exactly is that ? it kinda looks like a 3d rendering :) your other photos also has a bit of that 3d look to them.. interesting.

ricardo: Good colors and sharpness in your photos.

stu.dio: Hehe what a cool she is wearing those glasses :D

Hervé: LOL i'm so curious about your photo, that looks like the expensive yummy Spanish ham you were talking about some months ago.. but what is that weird device you built ?! :D i mean.. is it made for cutting thin slices of the meat or something else..

Nik: Your macroshots are good! especially the first one.

thxraph: Pretty sunset :) and thanks

ivox: Hehe you know just the way to fix a phobia :D ..ain't that human bones that covers the floor ? it looks like it.. cool building near your studio

All i had today were some clouds, i shot these on my way home from the grocerystore. Nothing special about them, just plain clouds :)

Awesome, Thxraph!

One of my geckos has been laying eggs, but they're not fertile.

I wonder how a gecko egg omelette would taste, besides small?

Kirk,

..........and I prefer the 1st one ! :) It's pretty close to perfect in terms of classic composition. The asymetrics of the sculpture, nicely centered background bldg w/turbulent sky. ....but that lake reflection in the 2nd would of been a real nice addition in the 1st [if possible] :).

Hiya! nice photos everyone :) sorry but i have to keep the reply short for now, i'm at the library in town as my computer at home broke last week, motherboard and graphicscard crashed. Probably due to overheating or something :( so i'm computer-less or how you say it now for a while until i can afford to put something new together again :(

I'll be back when i'll be back..

Hi Max, that's so bad news for your computer crash. You should have more attention to cooling.

I hope you can afford to meet a new good partner soon. :)

May the maxwell-force be with you.
