My partners and I are getting a scene out for a client and noticing we can't get camera motion blur. Our shutterspeed is set to 1/50 (50) and our shutter angle is set to 180 (wide open)... We tried it in both maya and max - but nothing. We're able to get object based motion blur, no problem - however, when all the objects are still and we're just dollying a camera through geometry... no blur! And yes, our subframes are set to "2" in the camera and in both Preview and Default render settings.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated :D
Thanks,
Jep

motion blur in V1.0 works on objects only..

maxwell (as far as i remeber) been able to do motion blur from camera's motion alone.

EDIT..
sorry I stand corrected your right, Beta did blur based on camera's movment..

yet another thing broken with the so called version1...

Actually, yes, Maxwell did used to do camera based motion blur - I'm not sure which beta version it was but it did work. I used it all the time. Any ideas when this 1.x will be out?
