Thanks. The image rendered for 2 nights (ouch) at 3200x and was scaled down to 1600x which helped reduce the noise. I did make a 13x19 print from the larger file and the noise looked similar to film grain - no wierd pattern.maxtage wrote:So Fantastic&cool image.

Thanks. The balls are multi-subobject with 2 materials done in 3dsmax, an emitter and an silver ansiotropic material (60-70% at 45 degree angle) on a grey diffuse surface.
