Would be hilarious if those were actually suitable for render farm (ram :/) and people started rounding them up on these. Only problem that they lack an RJ-45 port.

Other future possibility would be a bunch of PS3's connected together but i see many stepstones in the way there aswell

Actually the RJ-45 port is on the side of these things which is how you can power then over ethernet if you choose to do so.

These PCs still wouldn't make a very good render farm because they only have 64MB of flash memory based storage so you're going to be transferring alot more than just an input file across the network. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure these PCs will allow you to mount a shared directory.
