Actually, the roof is an old slate roof texture, i just think it is a little over exposed? :oops: i have a very high bump value, maybe i just need to model the roof but poly count is high as is (1,498,979 triangles)

Good texturng effort overall !

A couple of points:
The metallic parts of the barrel are too clean (too vivid).
The branches texture of the left tree seems to stretch and the leaves have a slightly flat look.

I think it's pretty impressive, but maybe suffering from an overall greenish /yellow cast.

ivox3 ... yep, i believe your right. i didnt do any post to the image... i was kinda going for the look of the sun low in the sky shining on the front face of the cabin

Yep, I saw that, .....but didn't really see the sun as evident on the other objects .........so I thought that the cabin texture might of been from an overly bright map. ...... so I tried to blend it in a little. :)

i've read about the issues of getting light through the glass to maybe light up the inside a little.. but how can i improve the look of the glass of this cabin?

I believe you would just have to use an AGS material, .....although, I haven't tried them as of yet. So, ....no expert here on that subject.

but a little light in there would be a nice touch.
