I've lusted after that NASA/Kubrick lens since I read about it. 
And on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, we have my entry for today.

A couple years back, I was out riding my bike (the me-powered variety as opposed to the internal combustion version) and in the middle of the bike lane was a dead rabbit -- quite flat and clean -- and someone had spraypainted a 'chalk outline' around it. The only thing I had on me to take pictures with was my clunky little Sony PDA. So, photo specs are irrelevant to that image.
