Hi, I have a lot of architectural material, made in max and now I want to translate in maxwell, but I have a problem.
Where can I put Specular Map in Maxwell Material Editor ?

Thanks

you have to experiment a bit.

simple way is to go for the roughness map slot, here you can load your specular texture.

but for better control over the specular intensity I suggest you a 2 bdsf layers material: consider one layer as diffuse and one as specular: here you put your map in the reflectance slot, not roughness this time.
this way you can blend the layers with weightmaps in order to obtain more or less specularity...

hope it helps... :D

Thank you!
I tried both method and the best for me is second: a material with two bsdf layers.

I hope to post my first V1.0 image in 2 days.
