The Version 1.0 architectural image is beautifully clean.

Very nice indeed.

How was it lit? and how long did it cook for? Standard materials?

Too many questions?

I always get confused when I see European dates. lol I really like that architectural image as well. And from a loooong time ago (sort of), I liked the final can rendering. I think it melded the two styles quite well It would be interesting to see that one in V 1.0. The chair: Perfect. I don't think you DO need any dust or scratches. In a catalog or commercial, those would be taken out (assuming they had any in the first place), but if the chair is brand-new anyway...why WOULD there be dust or scratches? Those things are pretty clean.

@d7mcfc, thx. :) I have used phisical sky+sun and I played a bit with turbidity and water for having a plain blue. material are quite simple, mostly 2bdsf, jdhill AGS for glass (thx mate!:) ), and a micropierced aluminium with wheightmapped trasparency, though it is not visible here mostly because of the angle.

SL 12.73, 15h, 1400*1000 (vaio notebook p4 3ghz, 512 Mb ram)

phisical sky+sun, tur:2.5 water:2.0
camera: focal lenght: 50, fstop: 22, ss: 100, iso: 200.

@CJElven, thx to you too. I have to agree about the chair, but maybe a tiny bit of roughness or anysotropy might be needed, but I don't want to rework the chair again. thx again. I am changing the dates in order to have it less confusing.... cheers. :D

Thanks for those settings.

I have a tendency to forget about turbidity and water settings, and they are so useful.

Mental note to self!
