How many have this problem; it's much easier to continue working into the night than if you had a job that you "went to"... I know for me, I suffer from "just one more thing"... missed many good dinners because of this... however, there is something to be said for being able to get up, and if the wife is home, have a little fun (or maybe watch "The Simpsons") and then return to work... :D :D :D
Yep, plus you dont have to ever take your pajamas off :)

I tend to sit around in my dressing gown (edit bathrobe in american english) until some knocks on the door and then scramble into some clothes.

Hey Larson..... you spoted it right away.... sharp eyes :D It can be a real problem... especially when I'm on the phone to a new client and one of the kids shouts up the stairs...... 'daddy.... I've done a poooooooooooo'.... any sense that the client had of talking to a proffesional goes right out the window.......

I wonder what percentage of Maxwellian's work from home?

It seems to me most regular forum users tend to work from home, forums are like water coolers to us.

Time for a poll?

oh Robur i hear you totally, but for me ive got the total bonus ( prob like you) i have a bond with the kids cause im here 24/7 that most fathers dont even dream of having. infact my nearly 3yr old was born in our house in the next room to my office and while i was supporting my wife a client called as she was in the final pushing, dont ask me why i answered the phone (guess thats the freelancer inside of me that made me do it). i love seeing my kids and would really miss it if i had to go into a studio and only see them 30 min before they where due to go to bed. kinda makes an equal balance to all the stress clients give me ( nearly)
