How long did these renders take?
The red car is rendered at 1200x800 or something similar (downsized here), and took 3h20min

by the way, what is the difference between glas(dielectrics) and the new-glas-like-shader? is it, that the light coming through the glas does not consist of caustics?

maybe someone can explain?

this work-around material seems to be able to do all i exspect from window-glass!
is it tintable???
am i right that we should use a single poly-surface for it?
