Ah ... HAL ... this looks very cool :-)

(As I remember one of the first movies with "product placement" .. or at least a hidden mention of a computer brand HAL meaning IBM as the next letters in the alphabet)

I assume there was critique being looked for here?

- Based on my recollection of the film... and perhaps my fuzzyness in the matter helps here... wasn't everything a pretty clinical white? The two panels look like they are floating in a black void... unless they actually are currently, and will someday NOT be...

- The 'eye' bezel is VERY square. I don't recall if in the film it was squared like that, but even if it was, this is just TOO square... oww, you could cut a finger on those corners.

The lense portion is brilliant. Perfect. Though, oddly it reminds me of the Y2K parania commercial for apple. "dave... are your computers Y2K compliant... because macintosh computers are.. dave... don't press the start button to shut down... "
