Hi,

I would like to use a texture on an emitter. Is this possible with the Cinema plug in? I can see people have done it with other versions.
I think you need an MXI format image to do this but how would I convert a texture to the MXI format? I had thought of rendering a flat plane from Maxwell filling the screen, but you only seem to be able to export as Targa, jpeg or BitMaps.

Rory.

Adam Trachtenberg wrote:Yes, it's possible:

Open the Maxwell viewer and load your texture using the File menu options. Then save it as an mxi file.

Give your Cinema object an emitter tag and load the mxi you just created into it.

Then create a Cinema material and load the original image into the color channel. Place the material on the emitter object.

Done!

I tried in all ways and special this solution and always get this

ANY clue please
