hey nice stuff!

good attention to detail! there are a couple of thigns that bother me though!

1/ the colour and size of the parquetry floor (the wooden one!)
2/ the metal material on the rangehood above the stove (maybe it just neesd a bit more time)
3/ the size of the coffee machine and it's cups.
4/ the garden outside the window looks wrong

Very nice composition and colour, can't wait to see some more!

Thx for comments, guys.

To j_man: a agree with in three points, but:

1/ it is not my design, and floor is there and will not change
2/ i tried to simulate anistrophy of brushed stainless steel with bump map - i am not satisfied with result too
3/ no... cofee machine has correct size. 30x40x40cm... it is siemens
4/ it is wrong, but i have got only one photo, i did what i a can...

Thanks again... ;)

Good modelling and texturing over all, but the couch could use more detail and softness.

The lighting is not very good - it is very harsh. There are blown-out flashes of light in several of the images that can't be accounted for. There is nothing wrong with using fill lights, but no one should know you're using them.

The camera views do not show the spaces to their best advantage. The camera is too high and there is too much parallax in all of the views.

[ETA]
The shot with the view out the window - it is too vibrant and distracting. I think you can work with what you've got by using some filters and layer modes in Photoshop or another image editor.

Thx Tom...

Frances, I really apreciate your critics... I am trying to improve everything you mentioned in every scene. But I do not understand what you mean with fill lights??? Do you mean some "cheating" lights? There is one big emmiter plane and its reflection is seen in window. It is a mistake, I know. But i am sure, customer will not notice such a detail, so did not rerender it (another 15 hours).

Hi Spekoun,

re: the parquetry, my thoughts are that it just needs a little more work. if you look at these reference photos (from the wonderful world of google images!) you'll see that the wood has a nice oak colour and tone, and it is often polished to a high degree. Also, older (non fake) examples also show a small amount of displacement or bump. Also, where your bitmap tiles, the direction of the blocks is repeated which is incorrent.

As for the backgournd image outside the window, there in lies a problem with representing two lighting conditions in one image. This is a difficult thing to do. Especially if your reference image is low quality. These links will show either the outside well lit, or the inside well lit with large amounts of burn from the outside.
