Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

It's a stupid idea about a simple option.
I already posted this wish but i'm not sure i was clear.

This option allows to define different luminances curves for the same bitmap.

Tat means if that is the original bitmap, for diffuse channel for example

with a single curve you can extract the bump

or the reflectivity map

exactly like in photoshop.

I think if the function is well integrated the memory usage could be the same as from a single bitmap.

This option can save a 20% forkflow time and in certain scenes about a 1000% memory usage.

the same curve option on the Weight map channel would be even more interesting.

yep.. good wish.. actually thats my usual workflow in Cinema 4D where we have things like the filtershader (including sliders for hue, saturation, contrast, brightness, etc.)

I agree too, having basic 2d adjustments and cloning for textures is a real time saver!

Definately agree. I believe Tom said a while back that they were working on some map manipulation features - such as inverting the image (handy for clip-mapping and such). Being able to adjust the RGB levels would be great as well.

yep, that would be really handy. I usually do that in ps when drawing the maps, but it's sure a good thing to have the opportunity to do that on the fly while setting up a rendering.

Yep, brilliant idea here

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
