...no, OC, you see, they just broke up...she's storming away, and the cat's looking back at her thinking...'there's plenty more fish in the sea, baby'...

Seriously though, that's excellent for 30 min. Michael. :) You've got yourself quite a machine there! And you should...you always make good use of it. :D

With the wather, the wall and the lighting this scene really remids me a bit the atmosphere from the movie "Stalker" from Tarkowski.
Nice job as always michaelplogue.

I agree. the word "stalker" is becoming recursive since I did my university thesis starting from the book "stalking detroit" and that movie, and I find it difficult to translate it yet. but this is OT, of course.

nice atmosphere you catch. you are so talented for keeping the right mood in every shot you take with your maxwell camera. :D

Michael,

is that just a bump map on the wall or did you model the bricks?
if just a BM, it's amazing!!

good work!

Thanks all! Your comments are always appreciated!

wimver- No bump used at all for this. Just 3ds displacment modifier - Using a VERY dense mesh for both the bricks and the cobblestones. I can't remember off the top of my head, but the wall and the ground by themselves are over 2 million polys.

I just had some very bad memories of growing up in southern california...mid 80's...'the night stalker' terrified the region.

but..back on topic. Excellent brick texture and maybe a black cat instead :)
