my first computer was a Texas Instrument TI-99/4A. It was cartridge based. We bought it used from some guy. The only two cartridges that came with it were "Record Keeping" and "Personal Finance". The personal finance cart was used by the previous owner and was password protected. I cracked the password...I was only 9 years old...lol
We also had an Atari 2600. Among my favorite games were:
Yars Revenge
Pitfall
Pitfall II
Pac Man (of course)
Asteroids
Combat
Breakout
Stampede
Adventure!
Keystone Capers
The Empire Strikes Back
Midnight Magic
Raiders of the Lost Ark (absolute favorite)
In the late 80's I bought a Nintendo and never saw the sun that whole summer
In 1994 I got an Intel 486 - 33 MHz machine with 4 MB RAM and a 256MB Hard drive. That was my experience with ray tracing using POV-Ray. Then on to the first release of 3D Studio MAX.
I thought you guys might enjoy this
