1 week, 5 weeks, 10 weeks, or 1000 weeks?
Coming up on 4 weeks...Sam7 could have been on to something...hopefully it wasn't 1000 weekstom wrote:Posted: Mon Jan 30, 2006 5:21 pm Post subject:

hehe not even 5 weeks for sure... We do NOT like to keep these periods long but you know it's being better for you when we test and work on it enough, otherwise it's more waste of time for you and all of us It's hard to give a date but I think it shouldn't exceed next week. I'll inform you when needed!
You have to use the rule of 3... 5weeks x 3 = +/- 15weekspaxreid wrote:sam7 wrote:But can you give an approximation when to expect RC6?

Seriously..any info?
Don't want to nitpick, but there's an error in your formula:Leonardo wrote:You have to use the rule of 3... 5weeks x 3 = +/- 15weeks
you forgot the margin of error... you have to be generous when you talk about NL deadlines... so 15weeks in more accurate than 12.Kabe wrote:Don't want to nitpick, but there's an error in your formula:Leonardo wrote:You have to use the rule of 3... 5weeks x 3 = +/- 15weeks
The solution for -15 weeks is undefined by definition, so the result of this
approximation should be 15 weeks. If you take Tom's answer "not even 5
weeks" (=4 weeks) into the calculation (which makes 12 weeks), you even
get the error margin (15 weeks - 12 weeks = 3 weeks).
So the result is 15 weeks +/- 3 weeks, provided the rule of 3 is correct.
Of course NL could easily proof both of us wrong on this one tonight
