Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

Yep... it is. Not all models are built with north pointing up... architectural things tend to fit into a grid that's convenient to work on screen. Forcing a rotation to comply with the fixed north direction brakes the 0,0,0 reference for the working files and make it a little tedious to keep track of things.

It would also be nice to have Maxwell add a sun icon in your scene whenever you are using physical sky with sun. Just would make it easier to visualize where the sun is located.

I was thinking the same thing last night - and I was ready to post that - but you are faster I guess!

that it is true - a mark in the UI for the sun will be really helpfull.

good advice!

since it's a real sun :) i don't think it will be possible to show it's icon when you're working in a few meters scene  think maxwell takes 1 meter as 1 meter ... then the earth is dramatically big for a scene setup and so the sun's position is crazy far away :) if you make it closer to represent the angle you want, it won't be possible to catch the precision in real life. maybe i'm wrong
