Are there any plans to change the way Maxwell materials do their mappings so we can see a preview of our texture maps (i.e. ColorMaps, SpecMaps, etc.) in GL shaded mode? I know that 3dsMax Maxwell users have long had the luxury of seeing how their specmaps, colormaps, bumpsmaps, etc. are being applied to the geometry right in the GL view. This is HUGE - It's getting just plain tedious to have to render everything to see how the materials are mapping. .... it's frustrating, so I'm asking if there are any plans to achieve parity among plug-ins or is this as good as it gets for maya?

Does anyone have a decent work around?

Thanks,
Jep

jep, I feel your pain dude, I have been slapping a maya shader on with the texture map, adjusting UV's in the UV editor (since we cant use maya placement nodes) then slapping on the maxwell shader, it aint pretty but its better than guessing
