Btw,
I would love to see that scene rendered in maxwell at the same angle
with and without textures, I think that would be quite impressive!! :shock:

little update: I have improved the water, palm, grass...only release beta....rc5 does not work with this file...I think that rc5 does not digest the polygons :(

For Gianni,

Great work, Just like to know your workflow, from archicad directly to maxwell beta or through other modeller?

X arch4d:the rings are 3d no PS;
I use 3dsmax and modifier noise + ripple.
thanks

XNicoR44: I am making also the experiments that you have asked to me...thanks x your comment. :wink:

X Olivier Cugniet: thanks :D

Xcaesarini: I use 3dsmax and plug-in. I export from archicad to 3ds. thanks (ti rispondo anche in privato alla tua mail)

Yes of course....but I play now :D thanks

(diciamo che ora sto facendo dei test visto che il lavoro è stato già consegnato...quello che provo magari mi sarà utile per il prossimo...anche gli oggetti inutili! grazie per i complimenti ovviamente :D )

Hey Gianni... firstly let me say that these are really great renders. The latest one is the best for me. Just one thing though.... in the initial 3rd rendering it almost seems like the scale is distorted.... the roof tiles seem too big for the size of the building. And the proportion between the potplants, lamps and the doors seems out. Is this intended? Or are my eyes just decieving me? Keep up the great work.

ok, now this updated image is getting into some interesting terrain- we've got some sort of blue cannon parked in the garden, some identical hype chicks scattered around here and there, empty beer bottles, and some recent guns & ammo mags in the foreground...would like to be there!!
