The only way I have been able to load an scene is from MODO Freeze SubDs, triangulate, delete Morph Maps and save as .obj.

I haven't tried yet to export textures nor emitters.

Physical Sky works, but Sky Dome always renders black.

This is an .obj file from the CGTalk lighting contest. The other scenes I tested were modeled in MODO but looks like RC5 won't save the image automatically as the beta. and I lost them.

I've got problem with color in viewport when I render.

The viewport will be shaded red or yellow all of the camera viewport when I select Render from Shade menu (upper left of viewport.) It occured in nextlimit sample (content folder) and my scene which render well in RC5 PC.

One more thing. Not bug but Black letter on Dark GUI is pain in ....

Any chance to change theme a little bit or even have some GUI color config in Preference in Final 1.0?

About the Zoom Issue I am using a Tablet and need to use middle pen button

ALT + RIGHT mouse button zoom in and out.

Still can not import anything except the Maxwell default scene within the Maxwell download folder.
I have made a test file in Lightwave (all 3 point polygons)
When I load or import the test file I get nothing.
Tried the modo path and got nothing as well.
Exported an .obj file, still nothing.

Any suggestions, or is there something I have missed like RTFM

Yes, I also have that problem, it worked fine for some hours, then it started to freak out when render in viewport and render region, but my colors is yellow or blue, not red
As-well as the small material icons in the material list and the preview in the material editor shows up all red tinted, I then update the material preview, and it looks fine for some time, then all of a sudden, the preview gets tinted again...

But overall, it is a great toy to play with....

Supongo que es el mismo que paso con la beta. Y que al final corrigieron haciendo una version para el G5 y otra para el G4.

I guess it's the same problem that it was with the Beta and the G4, It was solved with one beta for the G5 and another for the G4.

also, the stand alone renderer did not use more than 210% of the processing power. it switched forth and back between 100% and 210% when rendering the nloffice.mxs file. looks like the optimizations are not yet very advanced. 4 licenses used for the power of 2 - that's not a good deal

sorry everyone: i didn' set the render threads to 4 in studio - i thought this setting is automatic. now i get 400% CPU average load on a powermac quad
