I think that a few new default values might be better:
Maxwell camera: a very common fStop versus shutterspeed value is 5.6 and 1/30.
Standard Watt value for emitter material: 2000 W. 5000 is an uncommonly high light strength and I think it's better to adjust your fStop and/or shutterspeed to adjust the amount of light in your scene. On top of this the high emitter strength will induce sharp edged DOF where objects are positioned in front of the emitter.
