Can someone explain to me how to use motion blur?

I made an animation to get the motion, but only wanted a still. Therefore I get a scene with a certain object blurred with every thing else still, where do I go from here?

Unfortunately motion blur has never worked with the Cinema plugin yet. So all you can do is to hope that the plugin gets fixed sometimes in 2006.
