Hi, is it possible to lightlink an emitter to specific objects. In my case, I would like to light a character´s eyeball with a specific emitter that don´t contribute to the rest of the scene.

I know about masking lights in post, but is there more ways? It would be nice to not have to render face and eyes in separate passes if possible.

Best regards,

You're welcome. I saw your other WIP video and it's looking good animation-wise. But I can see the lighting still needs work. Lighting in Maxwell requires a different way of thinking than the traditional CG lighting techniques used by biased render engines. Try to think in terms of real world film sets, studio lighting, etc. Good luck on your project, it looks cool!

Yes, I have not really been thinking about the lights yet. Currently doing a lot of uv-mapping for the different objects in the scene. Looking forward to play with the lights, much more artistic and enjoyable than messing around with uv´s :)
