someone asked me about the maxwell material setup for the fish in the Silo forum, so may as well post it here if anyone is interested:

*the disabled base layer is setup without sss for shots not needing such detail.

**the previews shown for material where done in an older build. in the new 2.6+ I'm getting a hell of a lot of noise through preview.

That looks very, very nice! Good job! Just wondering: does the slime layer actually do anything? I'm asking, because both its reflectance colours are set to black...

Thanks Rusteberg, always wondered about that fishy :)

Material looks legal, only could change the 5% additive layer to normal, would be safer.

I think it could be a change to the lighting that causes the noise in 2.6, have you tried changing that?
