Everything related to Maxwell network rendering systems.

Is there an issue when trying to do network rendering on Windows XP 64bit edition? Every time I attempt to do a network render, something crashes. I'm doing a test using the benchmark test scene provided in the sticky.

I load up the manager on the workstation, then load the server on it as well since I would like to is it cooperatively as well. I load up the server on my render box and it is seen just fine. So I go into Maxwell Render and load up the scene, connect to the manager, and add it as a job and select cooperative for the rendering.

Here is the interesting part, I have to load the mxs file into Maxwell before being able to add it, simply because the information is already there. If I try to add the job before loading it into Maxwell, it won't do it. It just won't put the path info in the text boxes, even if I navigate to it and click Open.

On top of that, I can't see any of my render node IP addresses in the add job dialog screen, so even if I wasn't doing co-operative rendering, I couldn't even select which system to send the job to, even if the systems are visible in the Render Farm section.

How am I getting this issue? Is it a problem with 64bit compatibility in Windows? Anyone else have this issue?

Both the workstation and the render node are on 64bit Windows.

I have the same problem with Xp 32bit and I have no Idea how to fix it. Maybe you can't have manager and server running on the same machine, but then you are minus 1 machine which is very bad for rendertimes.
