Problem right now I have to manually export each frame from studio, because I can not use Lightwave for export since it don't geht the correct projectors for the MXM. (I did not try. but I guess)

something else:

Hi!
Here it is!!
My first (and I think it's the first one in the forum) Animation with RC5 :D

But unfortunatelly, as mentioned I had to set animation and export each frame manually. So I decided to use 33 frames only.

BUT I used this nice piece of software 'SlowMotion' that interpolates subframes.

So here I have 3 seconds of animation now:

hmmm great :D but... did you animate something other than camera ? It's nice to see colors changing according to angle, but it seem's to swimm, or maybe it's just because each frame didn't cook enough, or the compression of the animation.... but... very interresting :D 8)

no, just the camera... I considered this to be enough because of typing in each position in animation for each object is a little annoying ;)

Oh yes I forgot to say, each frame is SL 11.
took ~15-20 min. each

I guess the swimming is also caused by this SlowMotion software.

Cool animation! :) You certainly made quick work of it!

For what it's worth, here's a quick setup sort of like that wafer pic:

There's a bit of a stretch (focal length) to make the spectrum pop. To get what we're seeing in that wafer, I think might require some pretty complex geometry. It may also be that the actual effect in the picture is prismatic, vs. iridescent, but I don't know for sure. Any thoughts?

only one thing,
the animation and the shell is really good. The shell itself looks in reality different. The structure of the shell is not straight. The structure of the shell is unregular but round and oval. You can see this on buttons from mother of pearl.
