Yes, the LCD method is the only one I haven't put my finger on.

I wonder if when the beta comes out if we will need to do these tricks?

Will the beta allow us to use the color map in a luminecent channel and achieve the same thing?

Amazing!
Gradient trick is nice and if you remember my crappy way I solved the same issue with emitter angle on mine :)

Thank you Tom. Your method is not crappy, I think its quite ingeneous.

About the angled emitter, I don't it will work in this case because it would have to be angled towards the glass and we don't want any emitter light escaping from the top of the display. Right now the eimtter light is totally contained.
