Mmmm. Single malt.
I love Highland Park, but for me, Lagavulin wins. When someone else is buying, I won't turn down Macallan 18 though.
Also find of fine tequila (Asombroso, Patron).
Or excellent rum (Appleton's 25 year old is lovely).
Premium absinthes are nice too; like Un Emile.
I have lots of vodkas largely because it's a good medium for mixer flavors.
I'm also fond of sake -- Rihaku's Wandering Poet being my favorite.
Good bourbon is also never amiss. My most recent being Old Rip Van Winkle.
With gin, I'm very fond of Hendricks and Magellan, but for martinis I usually use Bombay sapphire and a good vermouth, because I am a snob.
I have a hard time getting into beer 'cause it's just less appealing to me, and wine is such a vast subject that I have no hope of getting an equivilent collection (I've got at least 2-3 representatives of nearly any type of spirit).
