It's a great product...
But performance is less than stella. I admit that I'm a fairly new user but the sweet spot for this software is a very 1990's 512 pixels.
1024 & 2048 are possible but performance falls off a cliff especially at 2048. The assets that I would like to be using this for require 4096 or more resolution at point of creation.
Obviously sampled down before packaging for realtime applications. Still 4096 and higher is not possible in current version of substance.
Cannot see where this product will be useful for Maxwell, where texture resolution requirements are much higher than for games.

I output 2048 and 4096 textures regularly, but I'm using Substance Designer (I'm not sure if the new resolution limits have made it to your platform yet)... I rarely output textures any larger from Zbrush, and they always seem to get the job done for me in Maxwell. However, I guess this depends largely on exactly what it is you are trying to texture (and what UVs it has) -- I don't try to cover large areas with these textures (I've seen people try to use these for terrain), nor would I use them for closeups unless it was a smaller object... but I think that is pretty typical, and the reason why something like the Arroway textures (with their massive resolution) will continue to have a market for a long time to come.

Best,
Jason.
