When wanting to select a material with File > Open MXM..., no thumbnail or preview is shown in List or Icons view, making the selection of materials very inconvenient.

Also, the file path always defaults to materials database > mxm files instead of the user's own materials folder, very inconvenient also.

Workaround using the "RESOURCES BROWSER" tab and "Local".

However, that does not work with a mounted server smb://........../Rendering/Materials
