this was a nightmare day for me

my pc mysteriously died and now these news are not that happy to me.
this software was my first investment after university. I don't do render for living, but I need renders for my work. So the extra licence is kinda useless now, maybe in the future but not in the near future.
I mean I don't think I have time and money to invest in another 7 cpu (or 6 or 4 or 2 or what else, with the stupidest policy I ever seen I don't have a clue if it is per socket per core or)....

!!!
users as Maxer would be happy for sure, but I am completely uninterested in this compensation so far, a free upgrade it'd be way better.
Plus feature relevant in architecture works won't be there.
Most of all I choose maxwell for its linux support, cause it seems one of the very few high-end renderer running linux, now there is no single word about a linux release, which made me sick. I saw your posts tiskal, aking for linux and nobody answered, now I am starting to fear that there is no interest for linux within the company....
And honestly for me beta linux was a crap, quite buggy and instable, I was happy to wait for a RC linux version, and it didn't happen.
probably it's just me but I am sad about all of this, better to go out, enjoy the spring, and maybe tomorrow it will be better.
