hey.... this is in build .29 max 2012
if i create a maxwell material, add emitter layer, assign projected texture (in this case 8bit png), assign it to a small sphere for projection, save the file, then reopen the file, the projected texture gets wiped out......
i think someone might have reported it a while back but maybe that was something else..... it's really annoying
